Jervois Copper Project Industry Briefing
KGL Resources is progressing the Jervois Copper Project, a copper, silver and gold project located approximately 380 km north-east of Alice Springs in the Northern Territory.
The project is based on a Mineral Resource of 27.45 million tonnes and is expected to operate for an initial 10-year mine life. Development includes multiple open cut and underground mines, a 2 million tonne per annum processing plant, and significant supporting infrastructure including accommodation, power generation, water supply, an airstrip, roads, tailings storage and other site facilities.
Commissioning is currently planned for the first half of 2028, with steady-state production expected from the second half of 2028. As the project progresses towards construction, substantial opportunities will become available across a broad range of industries including civil construction, mining services, engineering, transport and logistics, camp services, electrical, mechanical, fabrication, maintenance and professional services.
KGL Resources will be joined by Sedgman, the preferred engineering, procurement and construction contractor for the design and construction of the Jervois processing plant, to provide an overview of the project and upcoming procurement opportunities. Additional key delivery partners may also participate as project appointments are confirmed.
